What did the English settlement of Jamestown call the winter of 1609-1610?

The winter of 1609-1610 was called the Starving Time because of food shortages, fractured leadership, and a siege by Powhatan Indian warriors that killed two of every three colonists at Jamestown. Only 60 colonists survived.
